The International Association for Geodesy 2021 Scientific Congress (IAG 2021) concluded in Beijing on July 2. The conference was sponsored by the International Association of Geodesy (IAG), organized by the Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping, and co-organized by 19 well-known universities and research institutes including the Institute of Aerospace Information Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

Zishen Li, a researcher of Navigation System Department of Aerospace Information Research Institute, and Ningbo Wang, an associate researcher, hosted the oral report and posted report exchange session of geodetic Remote Sensing Branch respectively. The navigation System Department organized scientific researchers in related fields to participate in academic exchanges in IAG main conference and related sub-conferences through online video Modelling, in which Ningbo Wang gave a presentation entitled "Real-time Ionosphere Monitoring and Modelling: "Status during 2019-2021" oral invitation report, Dr. Liang Wang and Ran Li respectively posted reports on Volkswagen high-precision positioning and Beidou-3 precision orbit determination.

By co-organizing this conference, the Aerospace Information Research Institute not only strongly supports the successful holding of IAG in China, but also shows the research direction and key research results of the laboratory, enhances the comprehensive understanding of the laboratory researchers on the latest progress of international geodesy, navigation and positioning science and technology, and strongly promotes the improvement and development of the international academic exchange level of the laboratory.
